On the 25th anniversary from the first EU trade mark applications, intellectual property experts across Europe joined forces in a project designed to mark the event. The project, coordinated by the distinguished practitioner Flip Petillion, resulted in a book titled ”EU Marks a Quarter of a Century” that comprises several articles covering a wide range of subjects reflecting the evolution of the EU trade mark system.
SIMION & BACIU is pleased for the opportunity to be part of this project:
Ana-Maria Baciu, Managing Partner and Andreea Bende, Partner contributed the article titled “Cooperation milestones of the “European Union Intellectual Property Network” (EUIPN) at the celebration of 25 years of the EUIPO“.
The piece outlines historical milestones in the EUIPO’s evolution and highlights the accomplishments of the Office in the field of cooperation with both national intellectual property offices, and user associations, and provides expert considerations on the practical results and the impact that such programs brought to the users of the trade marks system.
More details about the initiative, its contributors and how to secure the book are available here.
