Like every other year, our gambling team has participated earlier this month to ICE London 2020, World’s Gaming Innovation Showcase, where Cosmina Simion has also been speaking at ICE Vox, the broadest and most insightful conference in the gambling industry.
In the World Regulatory Briefing session, Cosmina participated in the panel “A year in Review” discussing the challenges the industry had to overcome in 2019 and the expectations for 2020.
In the second day of discussions at ICE Vox conference, Cosmina has participated in the Cybercrime and security session and sat in the panel “Identity verification and the road to safer gambling: Verifying customers swiftly to overcome fraud, AML and RG challenges”. Between others she discussed here about the use of biometrical data for improved customer identity verification and overcoming the legal challenges of acquiring and storing biometrical data whilst complying with GDPR.
